Karthik N C is a Senior Engineer with over 13 years of experience in the field of embedded systems and firmware development. He is currently working with L&T Technology Services in Bengaluru as a Senior Software Engineer in the Embedded domain. Karthik has a strong technical background in C, C++, Python, Data Structure, ALP, and Firmware. He is also proficient in various communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, RS232, RS485, MODBUS, MQTT, and state machines. Karthik has extensive experience in designing electronic circuits, power converter design, batteries, sensors, actuators, ADC, DAC, Flash memory, RAM, ROM, and VLSI Design. He has worked with various microprocessors such as Intel x86 processors, ARM processors, and microcontrollers such as ARM CORTEX based controllers viz LPC1768, STM32, x86 based controllers viz 8051, 89C51RD2, ATmega328, and RX CPU (Renesas) based controller viz RX72N. Karthik has experience working with EDA tools such as PSPICE, MULTISIM, and CADENCE. He is proficient in operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and FreeRTOS. He has also worked with various software tools such as STM32 Cube IDE, IAR IDE, CC Studio IDE, Keil MicroVision-5 IDE, Xilinx ISE, MATLAB, Pro-face, Quantum leaps (QP/C) realtime embedded frameworks. In his previous roles, Karthik has worked as a consultant and technical trainer in Cranes Software International Limited, Bengaluru, and as a lecturer for more than eleven years in the field of electronics and communication engineering at Sapthagiri College of Engineering, Bengaluru. He has taught a variety of subjects such as Logic Design, X86 Microprocessors, ARM microcontroller, Embedded Systems, Basic Electronics, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Microelectronics, Power Electronics, and Signals & Systems. He has also guided more than eighty students in completing their final year academic project at the undergraduate level. Karthik is passionate about embedded-c programming, assembly level programming, electronic circuit design, and communication protocols. He is interested in doing innovative projects that target the energy sector, medical field, industrial & home automation, environmental protection, and safety measures.
